While on patrol on Post Road shortly after midnight on Monday morning, police stopped 44-year-old Shaquan Taylor, when the vehicle’s License Plate Reader alerted officers that he had a suspended or revoked registration.
During the traffic stop near the intersection of Post Road and Farley Road, it was determined that Taylor’s license was recently suspended on March 7 for parking violations, and further investigation found that his privileges to operate the vehicle had been suspended nine times, leading to his arrest.
Taylor was charged with misdemeanor counts of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with three or more suspensions. Taylor’s car was towed to a private lot and following arraignment, he was released on $250 bail. Taylor is due back in Scarsdale Village Court on June 13 to answer the charges.
